Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Front‑End / UI Engineer with strong expertise in React JS, GraphQL, and modern UI frameworks to build highly responsive, performant, and intuitive user interfaces for electronic trading and analytics platforms.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, passionate about UI engineering excellence, and experienced in building data‑intensive, real‑time web applications.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Design and develop modern, scalable front‑end applications using React and related UI technologies.
- Build reusable UI components and design systems with a focus on performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Integrate UI applications with backend services via GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Collaborate closely with backend, product, and UX teams to define UI architecture and data contracts.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, UI architecture diagrams, and component guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and best practices.
- Support deployment, testing, production rollout, and ongoing support activities.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and enterprise UI standards.
Required Qualifications:
Core Front‑End Skills (Priority #1)
- Strong experience with React JS (functional components, hooks, context, state management).
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Proven experience building high‑performance, data‑driven UI applications.
API & Data Integration (Priority #2)
- Hands‑on experience with GraphQL (queries, mutations, schema understanding, Apollo/Relay).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Experience handling real‑time or near real‑time data in UI applications.
UI Architecture & Tooling (Priority #3)
- Experience with modern UI build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel.
- Familiarity with micro‑frontend or modular UI architectures.
- Experience deploying UI applications in cloud‑native environments (AWS, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
Strong Plus / Nice‑to‑Have Skills:
- UI frameworks and libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind, Styled Components.
- State management libraries (Redux, Zustand, React Query).
- Experience with real‑time UI technologies (WebSockets, SSE).
- Testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
- Experience working in financial services, trading, or analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for UI applications.
Candidate Profile:
- Senior‑level, hands‑on UI engineer (not a UI manager role).
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a small, elite, fast‑moving development team.
- Passionate about UI performance, clean design, and user experience.
