Responsibilities

Human Resources & Development (HR&D) is seeking a Digital Adoption Solution Developer with strong web design skills. This position is on the Digital Performance Support team which is bringing “in the moment” learning and guidance to State Farm applications using Walk Me. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile effort with Enterprise impact that touches all associates, including State Farm agents and their teams. Responsibilities:

  • Possesses an understanding of how digital adoption technology solutions meet the business outcomes and offers a range of solutions for business partners
  • Participates in sprint planning; provides work estimates to deliver product stories; owns development stories
  • Develops solutions across multiple applications according to business requirements
  • Completes required design and build to satisfy the defined acceptance criteria and deliver desired outcome
  • Provides product and/or process expertise while leading solution design, considering risks, mitigations, performance, user experience, and testability
  • Assists in development of automated testing, contributes to test approach and scenarios for requirements, and supports builds as necessary
  • Completes required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, and business teams
  • Utilizes agile development practices, build, data and testing standards, security practices, quality reviews, solution management, continuous delivery and software architecture
  • Participates in the full solution development cycle including build, testing, implementation, support and sunset
  • Adopts Service Design, where appropriate, through architecture modularity to enable continuous delivery
  • Applies emerging technology solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness: expectation of continuous innovation
  • Resolves problems that result in a decreased time to market; improves quality, enhances flexibility, and embraces the solution provider mindset

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following experiences/capabilities:

  • An understanding of UI/UX, general web functions and standards to work across internal and external websites
  • Possesses expertise and hands on experience with web applications and programming languages/tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and APIs
  • Capable of managing multiple projects, works collaboratively with developers, and works within tight deadlines in a professional manner
  • Tracks and analyzes programs, provides metrics, determines and reports on trends, offers data-based recommendations
  • Knowledge of Walk Me or other digital adoption tools a plus
  • Researches and applies new technology trends as it relates to web or solution development
  • Possesses knowledge of accessibility standards
  • Ability to anticipate, analyze, and solve problems
  • Knowledge of and focus on the customer experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Potential starting salary range: $66,071.85 - $122,300
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
  • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
