The Job:

As a Maintenance Controls Tech you’ll be part of our growing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to provide direct support for the Distribution Center Autostore Goods-To-Person automation, operate the system start up and shut down, and maintain/troubleshoot the Autostore system.

You’ll also get to:

• Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as necessary.
• Maintain, modify and troubleshoot a variety of electrical and electronic devices.
• Exercise necessary precautions to ensure personal safety and safety of others.
• Possess comprehensive operational knowledge of all associated Autostore equipment.
• Utilize general troubleshooting ability and work with Bastian Solutions Support to communicate resolution for issues.
• Achieve knowledge of Exacta applications and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• Maintain communication with the internal support teams as well as the Bastian Solution Support team for any issue resolution of Autostore systems or Exacta software occurrence.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

• Computer-literacy to navigate computer files and ability to read complex electrical/mechanical prints and schematics.
• Full understanding of computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• A working knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics.
• A strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Comfort working with heights.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
