Pay Range: $25 - $27
$3,000 sign on bonus
Eligible for quarterly bonus - up to 5%
Shift/Schedule: 1st Three Months: 7a-3:30p (training), After Training Period: 9a-5:30p

Where You Will Work:
Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.
Job Summary:
Maintains plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. Assists maintenance team and/or subcontractors with facility items and building repair.
Essential Functions:
-
Work with onsite maintenance team and sub-contractors to disconnect and reconnect assets and facility components.
-
Reassemble parts and equipment using hand tools and/or power tools.
-
Willing & able to learn preventative maintenance duties that include, but are not limited to, changing oil, fluids, belts, filters, etc.
-
Assist maintenance team with facility items, building repairs, and equipment repair.
-
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
-
Works from ladders and/or scaffolds where necessary.
-
Trained to operate forklift and scissor lift.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED;or one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified forklift operator (beneficial but not required)
-
Specialized Requirements: Safety training at all levels.
-
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-
Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and voltage meter.
-
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Prior industrial and/or manufacturing maintenance experience.
