The Job:
As a PLM Integrations Architect, you’ll be part of our Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee and will work in close collaboration with your peers in the team, as well as IT, third party vendors and the Outdoor product development teams, you will ensure a successful integration of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems with critical enterprise applications, including CAD tools (e.g., NX, CATIA), ERP systems (e.g., InforXA, SAP), supplier portals, online PDF repositories, and demand planning tools. The architect will provide technical leadership and strategic direction to IT teams, ensuring seamless integrations that support engineering objectives while planning for the adoption of futuristic technologies to drive innovation. You will work collaboratively with the PLM Operations team, engineering leaders, and stakeholders, as well as software and service providers, with specific oversight and responsibility for the integrations required to support Outdoor product development.

- 7 to 10+ years of experience defining integration requirements for PLM systems with CAD applications (NX, CATIA), ERP systems (InforXA, SAP), supplier portals, online PDF repositories, and demand planning tools
- Lead the integrations strategy and execute the solution independently.
- Provided Technical guidance to IT teams for designing and implementing robust integration solutions, ensuring alignment with engineering workflows and business goals.
- Overseen the development/usage of API's and interfaces to enable data interoperability and process automation across systems.
- The ability to coordinate with cross-functional organizations on design of data models & data exchange protocols aligned with Master Data Management & SSOT strategy
- Assess existing integration architectures to identify inefficiencies, data inconsistencies, or performance issues impacting engineering processes.
- Collaborate with IT to implement enhancements that improve reliability, data flow, and user experience for engineering teams.
- Ensuring integration supports critical engineering activities, such as design collaborate, BOM management, and supplier coordination.
- Research emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, cloud-based PLM, etc.) to enhance integration capability and support Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for adopting new tools and platforms, aligning with engineering's long-term innovation goals.
- Advise engineering management on scalable integration solutions to future-proof PLM processes.
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering and IT, translating engineering requirements into actionable integration plans for IT execution.
- Work closely with engineering teams, supply chain, and external stakeholders to ensure integrations meet operational strategic needs.
- Provide technical recommendations to engineering management on integration tools, platforms, and vendors.
- Create high-level integration specifications, workflows, and documentation to guide IT implementation and ensure consistency.
- Ensure integrations comply with industry standards, data security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate IT-developed integration to ensure they meet engineering performance, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with IT on testing and validation processes to minimize disruption to engineering workflows.
- Monitor integration performance and recommend proactive improvements to support engineering objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a global matrixed remotely managed organization, and steer a multi-cultural, cross-functional global team of contributors towards a common goal,
- 10+ years of demonstrated relevant experience spanning engineering IT systems management
- Successfully collaborating with external partners, vendors, consultants, and Engineering Service Providers to manage overall delivery,
- Previous experience working through complex business and process analyses balancing between rigor and pragmatism, to enable decision making.
