The Job:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be part of our Plant team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:

• Manage and control material inventories to achieve inventory effectiveness targets.
• Ensure inventory accuracy in SAP through ongoing controls and reconciliation.
• Support production schedule attainment and service performance by ensuring material availability and execution discipline.
• Lead and execute continuous improvement projects, including Kaizen and 5S activities within the department.
• Maintain department metrics established by the Plant Director and provide weekly staff charts with key indicators.
• Communicate effectively with the Supply Chain team to ensure alignment and execution.
• Oversee supplier purchase orders for raw materials.
• Oversee purchase orders for service parts and intercompany requirements.
• Monitor and control excess and obsolete materials.
• Manage company resources (people, equipment, tools) effectively to meet business needs.
• Improve material flow and material management processes across the operation.
• Participate in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory.
• Define and lead the department’s optimal supply chain strategy and contribute to supply chain planning decisions.
• Lead talent management activities, including training and development within the department.
• Direct transportation and logistics activities in support of business requirements.
• Follow environmental and safety requirements, including waste segregation and compliance with operational controls.
• Participate in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 awareness training and follow established procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading Materials and Supply Chain personnel.
• Proficiency with materials control systems and supply chain tools (Microsoft Office, MRP, and manufacturing reporting tools such as Business Objects preferred).
• Advanced English skills and strong competencies in communication, leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and team development.
