The Job:

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support Manufacturing Engineering with key activities including:

• Learn aerospace components material and manufacturing processes

• Evaluate manufacturing processes via time studies and other methods to assess safety and efficiency

• Propose and implement changes to manufacturing processing

• Work on Continuous Improvement projects

• Design, develop and test tooling to improve manufacturing processes

• Act as day-to-day engineer to support floor production

You will have exposure to several areas of the Manufacturing Engineering team at the CAM Engineered Products Division of Stanley Black & Decker. You will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross-functional team of professionals, including Quality, Procurement, and Customer Service.

The Person:

The ideal Engineering intern candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Be a rising junior or senior with a target graduation date of 2026 or 2027

• Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering

• Maintains strong academic credentials.

• Exemplifies curiosity, attention to detail, problem solving, and an interest in understanding how things are made and work

• Successfully manages strong academics alongside extracurricular activities.
