Job Description:
As a Sr Change Consultant supporting the Change Leadership Team, you'll drive adoption of large‑scale, high‑risk initiatives across the company. In this role you'll bring experience in business transformation and apply the Southwest Airlines Change Leadership methodology to develop and deliver strategies such as a vision and case for change, stakeholder alignment, communication, and business and change impact assessment. The Sr Change Consultant will assess readiness for change, tailor engagement to build stakeholder commitment, and partner across departments to strengthen project Team health and ensure successful Business and Technology-driven change.

Responsibilities:

Assumes a high level of responsibility and ownership for assigned work/projects; requires minimal oversight
-
Assumes the role of the project/program Change Lead in managing the overall Change Leadership strategy, timelines, and deliverables for any complexity level projects or initiatives
-
Employs advanced critical/strategic thinking skills to identify issues, question assumptions, develop comprehensive solutions/recommendations and escalate for resolution if needed
-
Build strong, trusting relationships with project Team Members, key Stakeholders, and Executive Sponsor(s)
-
Conducts business impact and risk assessments to determine people, process, and technology impacts at the company, department, and job-specific levels and determines the best approach for addressing impacts and risks
-
Develop and execute coordinated, comprehensive change and communication plans (including ample opportunities for two-way dialogue) to facilitate clear, consistent, and honest internal/external messaging along all phases of the project

Develops and executes strategies and plans for aligning Leaders and all levels of Stakeholders to project goals and objectives

Identifies, plans, and implements project health, effectiveness, and success measurement metrics and tactics

Conducts analysis on surveys and other project data and creates presentations and summaries of key themes, outcomes, etc.

Scopes new work for change leadership needs and help determine options for staffing

Develops, delivers, facilitates, and/or participates in various meetings, workshops, and developmental opportunities

Develop and deliver presentations and other change collateral for all levels of the organization

May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Advanced knowledge of methods of communication, training, and project planning techniques, processes, and impacts

Employs advanced critical/strategic thinking skills to identify issues, question assumptions, develop comprehensive solutions/recommendations and escalate for resolution if needed

Exhibits advanced oral communication and presentation delivery skills

Expresses ideas clearly in documents which have an advanced level of organization, structure, grammar, language and terminology adjusted to the characteristics and needs of the audience

Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Expert-level experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
Change Leadership

Partnering at the Executive level on enterprise-wide projects, solving complex problems, and driving multiple Stakeholders towards change

Physical Abilities

Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time

Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications:

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Limited travel with potential for increased/decreased travel based upon Department needs
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $132,200 per year to $146,900 per year depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
