Social Finance, LLCseeks Senior Application Security Engineer in New York, NY:** - Job Duties: Conduct application security design reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to security best practices and identify security flaws. Develop and implement security services, leveraging coding skills to create robust and scalable solutions. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle. Design security features and controls to protect applications from threats and ensure compliance with security standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to developers on secure coding practices and security architecture. Stay current with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to proactively address emerging threats. Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and practices within the organization.Full-time telecommuting is an option.

• Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field OR Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

• Special Skill Requirements: (1) TCP/IP; (2) HTTP; (3) Microservices; (4) API Integrations; (5) AWS; (6) OWASP Top 10; (7) SQL; (8) Bash; (9) Java; (10) CICD; (11) Terraform; (12) Python; (13) Kubernetes; (14) Data Security, (15) Design security. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

• Salary: $204,000.00 - $224,400.00 per annum and standard company benefits.
