We are looking for a bright engineer to help manage our Enterprise Cloud Systems in the Corp Engineering team. This is a strategic, high-impact role that will also help shape the future of Snowflake products and services.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship

• Desired Class Level: Pursuing a Bachelor/Masters degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent

• Basic proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Java, Go, or C++.

• A good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

• A deep curiosity for cloud architecture and a willingness to question the status quo to make systems better.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / GAIN :

• Assist in managing custom application deployments across public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Develop software and scripts to automate deployment and maintenance tasks, helping our lean team operate a growing fleet of services sustainably.

• Contribute to building performant cloud infrastructure using SRE principles and modern IaC tooling.

• Use your problem-solving skills to help investigate production issues and participate in blameless incident post-mortems to document learnings.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to locate and define new process improvement opportunities to increase system uptime and reliability.

• Partner with various teams across Enterprise Tech to ensure our services meet high security and performance standards.
