The Sharing Foundation team builds software that connects customers via data and provides customers access to the Data Cloud. The team builds the revolutionary Data Sharing technology and Snowflake Data Marketplace https://www.snowflake.com/data-marketplace/ infrastructure.
- Bring the Data Cloud and AI capabilities to your SaaS Data
- We are building end-to-end product experiences that let customers access data from big SaaS platform providers on Snowflake without managing copies, pipelines, or complex integrations. We develop everything from the customer-facing product surface to the backend services and platform integrations that make zero-copy access to your data: fast, reliable, and secure. As part of this team, you will work closely with Snowflake’s data sharing team to design intuitive workflows, solve hard performance and scale problems, and define the technical foundation for how cross platform data shows up in Snowflake for years to come.
This is a high-impact role where you will have a direct impact on the product and the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
-
Design, develop, and deliver features across our full stack that have a direct impact on our customers and partners.
-
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
-
Build robust and high-performance systems to support the zero copy experience, using technologies like TypeScript, React, Go, Java, and Python.
-
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, while contributing to a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
-
Be a strong contributor to the overall product and technical direction of the area
OUR IDEAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
-
5+ years of industry experience designing and building scalable web applications with a focus on great user experience.
-
A strong foundation in full-stack development. You should have significant frontend experience with TypeScript and React, and experience with backend services in languages like Java, Go, or Python.
-
A genuine passion for building customer-facing products and a drive to solve problems that create real value for users.
-
A strong understanding of core computer science concepts and web application architecture, including security, performance, and scalability.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
