As a member of the Partnerships Strategy and Analysis team you’ll have an opportunity to shape the future of our content business. You’ll work closely with members of our talent management, editorial, product, and other XFN teams to bring key strategic initiatives to life and measure progress against our objectives. This will include conducting detailed analyses of our users’ behavior + preferences as well as market trends in the broader media landscape. Along the way, you will act as a thought partner to our content partnerships team leaders and get a crash course in the creator ecosystem and mobile attention economy.
Working from our Los Angeles office, you’ll collaborate with leadership on the Content Partnerships team to achieve the following:
What you’ll do:

Conduct quantitative analyses of user engagement to inform growth opportunities
-
Synthesize data analysis and market trends to form strategies that improve the health of our partner and creator ecosystems (and then oversee implementation of those plans)

Build and maintain strong relationships with critical stakeholders (across the content partnerships team and beyond)
-
Present your work to content partnerships team leaders and XFN stakeholders
-
Help develop scalable tools and systems to automate partnership reporting and analysis
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
-
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and/or Python
-
Knowledge of Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, and/or other data visualization tools
-
Strategic thinking and strong verbal and written communication
-
Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual & analytical rigor and high attention to detail
-
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and impactful way – turning research & hard numbers into compelling stories and useful strategic insights to a variety of stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably at a consulting firm, tech company, or media company
-
1+ years of experience with SQL and/or Python
-
Experience building strategic documents, business cases and business models
-
Experience analyzing data to inform strategic decisions
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interest in technology, social media, and media / content

Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company

Entrepreneurial spirit; self-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Compensation:
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $135,000-$203,000 annually.
Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $121,000-$182,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
