Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company’s three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, Spectacles.
This role leads market-facing research that informs Snap’s external thought leadership, sales narratives, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy across MENA and APAC. The work directly supports revenue-generating teams by translating audience, cultural, and behavioral insights into compelling, actionable narratives used in sales pitches, marketing campaigns, industry publications, and client engagements.
What You’ll Do
-
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Communications, Agencies, MSci, and regional leadership to identify research needs that support priority business moments.
-
Design and execute mixed-method research programs (quantitative, qualitative, neuroscience, first-party, and syndicated data) that generate market-ready insights for external use, including thought leadership, sales enablement, and GTM storytelling.
-
Own research end-to-end, from defining the business question and research plan through vendor sourcing, questionnaire review (including translation quality control), synthesis, reporting, and executive-level presentations.
-
Translate research into high-impact, external-facing outputs, including:
Industry whitepapers and research reports
-
Sales narratives and pitch-ready insights
-
Marketing GTM materials and campaign inputs
-
Speaker notes, PR narratives, and media-ready insights
-
Localize global research for regional markets, ensuring cultural relevance, accuracy, and resonance with local advertisers—particularly across MENA, including Arabic-language review and presentation where required.
-
Partner cross-functionally on GTM execution, co-leading launches with Marketing, Communications, and Agency teams to ensure insights are activated through events, press, client sessions, and Quarterly Insights Reviews.
-
Act as a senior, external-facing insights representative, presenting on stage at industry events, client engagements, immersion days, and executive forums across MENA and APAC.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Proven experience designing and delivering quantitative and qualitative research intended for external audiences (advertisers, agencies, and industry stakeholders).
-
Strong ability to translate research into compelling narratives that influence business decisions, GTM strategy, and sales outcomes.
-
Experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Communications, and agency teams (beyond internal product or research stakeholders).
-
Comfort presenting insights to senior leadership, clients, and public audiences.
-
Excellent storytelling, writing, and synthesis skills, with a strong sensitivity to cultural nuance.
-
Ability to manage multiple, high-visibility projects with competing timelines.
Minimum Qualifications
-
BA/BS, MA, or MBA in behavioral science, market research, psychology, sociology, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-
8+ years of experience conducting market, audience, or consumer research used in GTM strategy, sales enablement, or external thought leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience working in MENA and/or APAC markets.
-
Fluency in Arabic or experience delivering research in Arabic-speaking markets.
-
Background in advertising, media, or platform ecosystems.
-
Experience collaborating with external research vendors and agencies.
-
