Skydio is the leading US drone company and the world leader in autonomous flight, the key technology for the future of drones and aerial mobility. The Skydio team combines deep expertise in artificial intelligence, best-in-class hardware and software product development, operational excellence, and customer obsession to empower a broader, more diverse audience of drone users, from utility inspectors to first responders, soldiers in battlefield scenarios and beyond.
About the role:
We are seeking a Marketing Programs Manager, SLED, to support planning, own execution, and track performance of Skydio’s SLED-focused marketing programs. This role is responsible for turning strategy into execution by managing integrated campaigns across digital, sponsorships, webinars, email, and events, with a clear connection to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
You will work from defined growth priorities and campaign goals, then ensure programs are executed on time, on brand, and with measurable impact through strong cross-functional collaboration and communication. This role is not just about task completion. It requires an understanding of integrated strategy and how campaigns influence awareness, engagement, and sales progression in a complex, relationship-driven SLED market.
This role exists to ensure campaigns are well-orchestrated, performance-informed, and aligned to revenue objectives.
How you'll make an impact:
-
Own program execution for SLED initiatives, translating campaign strategy into timelines, deliverables, and launch plans.
-
Manage sponsorship-based campaigns end-to-end, including ads, e-blasts, webinars, and association deliverables, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
-
Plan and execute Skydio-led and partner webinars.
-
Work with contract resources to plan and execute paid media campaigns aligned to the content marketing strategy
-
Work with marketing operations to execute email campaigns tied to specific SLED initiatives, ensuring accurate segmentation, aligned messaging, and timely deployment.
-
Support SLED events and trade shows as part of broader campaign plans, managing deliverables, lead capture, and follow-up coordination.
-
Maintain campaign calendars and execution plans to ensure cross-functional alignment and on-time delivery.
-
Partner with Sales and BDR teams to ensure campaign-generated leads are properly contextualized and followed up.
-
Track and report on campaign performance, including engagement metrics, lead volume, and pipeline influence.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
-
Campaigns, sponsorships, and events consistently launch on time with clear activation and follow-through plans.
-
Web, Marketing Ops, and Events teams experience clear briefs, predictable timelines, and fewer last-minute escalations.
-
Sales understands where leads came from and how to follow up.
-
Campaign and event performance is reviewed regularly, with pipeline contributions and execution processes improving quarter over quarter.
-
The Growth Marketing Lead spends less time on coordination and execution and more time on strategy, optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
What makes you a good fit:
-
2-4 years of experience in campaign, field, or integrated marketing roles.
-
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns involving paid media, sponsorships, webinars, email, and events.
-
Clear understanding of AI tools and AI-driven productivity workflows
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
-
Comfortable working with performance data and connecting campaign activity to pipeline outcomes.
-
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (we use Marketo and Salesforce).
-
Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with marketing leadership, growth, operations, events, and sales.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
-
Willingness to travel for key SLED events (approximately 25%).
-
Experience marketing to SLED, Public Safety, or government audiences is a plus but not required.
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000, depending on experience, skill set, and location. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible for our benefits program, performance incentives, and professional development stipends.

We are committed to growing our network of people, programs, and resources to nurture an inclusive culture.
