Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – Senior Technical Lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services leveraging the AEM platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development and operations of AEM applications and integrations.

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of AEM infrastructure.

• Work closely with our Digital Experience teams, developers, I.T. Infrastructure team and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of AEM solutions.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables and resources to ensure productive workflow and timely completion of projects.

• Translate complex functional, technical and business requirements into architectural designs using industry standard methodologies.

• Thoroughly understand the AEM platform and all its constituent parts, including content management, commerce, digital asset management, target, analytics, etc.

• Contribute to strategic planning meetings and provide guidance and expertise on system options, risks, and impacts.

Skills You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+years of experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering global and highly scalable customer-facing digital products and capabilities.

• 7+ years of experience implementing web applications and web content management solutions using the AEM platform.

• Experience leading complex AEM implementation projects from design (architecture) through implementation and delivery.

• Experience in AEM component development, workflow development and integrating AEM with other applications.

• 5+ years of experience using and integrating the broader Adobe Experience Cloud stack (Assets, Analytics, Launch, Target, Campaign, etc.)

• Strong background and experience building web and responsive mobile experiences.

• Deep knowledge of AEM Core components (Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, CRX as a repository).

• Experience evaluating, planning and leading AEM service pack and major version upgrades.

• Experience configuring and leveraging continuous integration and robust build/test automation, with a preference for cross platform stacks (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus).

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.

• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.

• Proven track record of successful project delivery and team management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

The following qualifications will be considered a plus:

• Experience evaluating, planning and implementing Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Mod Security in AEM.

• Experience migrating from AEM as a Managed Service to AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Familiarity with AEM tag and script management using Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM).

• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in digital platforms.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.

• Experience with DevOps.
