Technical Product Manager - (Marketplace, App)

Responsibilities

• Drive the planning and development of Shopee App platform capabilities and infrastructure, with a focus on improving development efficiency, product quality, and user experience.
• Develop a deep understanding of business needs and technical systems, identify recurring needs and systemic problems, and translate them into scalable platform capabilities. Define product priorities and long-term direction based on business value, technical cost, and strategic impact.
• Drive AI integration across App platform capabilities and engineering workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automate processes, and build scalable product solutions.
• Establish and continuously improve key metrics and monitoring frameworks for App quality and engineering efficiency, using data insights and user feedback to drive ongoing product improvements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product teams, and regional stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of complex cross-functional products and initiatives.
• Continuously improve App development processes and platform capabilities, with ownership of overall engineering efficiency and App quality in production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in product management, technical product management, or a related role.
• Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical systems and engineering workflows and effectively bridge technology and business needs.
• Strong hands-on AI proficiency is required, with the ability to apply AI effectively across analysis, prototyping, problem solving, and day-to-day product workflows. Experience with AI Agents is preferred.
• Excellent cross-functional communication, collaboration, and project execution skills, with a strong sense of ownership and results orientation.
• Strong passion for technology and continuous learning, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
