Solutions Design Executive - Network Expansion, Scommerce

The Solutions Design - Warehouse Network Expansions will be responsible for designing and optimizing warehouse networks to support business growth, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maximizing warehouse capacity, optimizing costs, and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Network Expansion & Optimization

• Design scalable warehouse network solutions to support business growth.
• Develop space and cost models to ensure optimal warehouse layouts and inventory storage.
• Monitor CBM utilization and location efficiency to maximize storage capacity.

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Analyze key metrics such as CBM utilization, fulfillment costs, and operational efficiency to guide warehouse expansion strategies.
• Use data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Ensure fixed costs per item are controlled to support profitability goals.

Process Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Continuously evaluate and improve existing warehouse operations to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with Operations and Commercial teams to align warehouse solutions with business objectives.
• Develop and present recommendations to leadership, ensuring clarity and data-backed decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in costing, warehouse solutions design, logistics, or fulfillment center operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced) and SQL.
• Experience in designing warehouse layouts and optimizing storage solutions.
• Strong financial acumen to build cost models and manage cost-per-item efficiency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel as needed to assess warehouse sites and support project execution.
