Incubation Lead - Business Development, Shopeefood

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing Business Development
• Incubation nationwide, including all business development activities for Shopee Food's products and service
• Involved in the business planning and implementation process, driving sustainable growth for the segment across short, medium and long-term horizons
• Analyze data across the full merchant lifecycle - from onboarding to farming - to plan and strategize for the segment in the short and long term.
• Act as the Champion of the merchant engagement framework, lead, maintain and continuously improve efficiency of 1:Many/Mass merchant engagement activity.
• Drive and monitor the team's daily execution tos ensure excellence
• Coordinate with other departments (Product, BnP, Operations, ...) to ensure the smooth operation of business activities across the Incubation segment.
• Responsible for organization build up, including hiring, training/coaching (theoritical foundation and on-the-job training), and managing direct reports to grow the organization in both quantity and quality.
• Provide on-the-job training to BD staff, and apply situational or strategic problem-solving to merchant or business issues based on field insight.
• Develop, maintain, leading cadence report or required report to management team.
• Proactively initiate and lead initiatives, prioritizing cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

• University degree or above majoring in: Business Administration, Marketing, ...
• At least 7 years of experience in managing Sales / Business Development teams, having connections with restaurant chains/brands in the F&B market or familiar with On Demand food ordering platform is a strong plus
• Prefer candidates with experience in business development in the field of E-commerce/fintech; F&B industry; have experiences in managing sizable teams is a plus.
• Passion for business, with a strong leadership mindset.
• Able to work under high pressure.
• Agility, adaptability and good teamwork.
• Good management, negotiation and presentation skills.
• High sense of responsibility at work.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Fluent English (4 skills)
