The Customer Service Assistant will provide administrative support for our Customer Service and Management Team. This includes providing essential administrative support including coordinating daily tasks, maintaining accurate records, and efficient workflow across operations.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Facility located at: 415 E Commerce Street, Andover, KS 67002.

This is a part-time role.

The work schedule will be Monday through Friday between 9: 00 AM and 2:00 PM. Specific working hours will be determined based on business needs and are subject to change.

Job duties involve contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and vendors.

EDUCATION:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Preferred:

  • Previous Customer Service Experience (phone and electronic communication a plus)

Required:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Basic Computer Skills (Outlook/Word/Excel/Access)
  • Good time management, prioritization, and organization skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
  • Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access

  • Positive and friendly attitude

  • Strong time management

  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and safety regulations

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward internal and external customers

  • Process assigned file retention, labels, and requested documentation

  • Assist customers through email and over the phone

  • Possess sales transactions in the POS accurately and consistently with policies and procedures

  • Complete data entry, electronic filing, label processing, purchase order review, and verification and proofing

  • Utilization of good time management

  • Capable of multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
