Job Description:
Shell Finance Operations (FO) is accelerating its Digitalisation and Autonomous Finance journey by embedding automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making across all processes. We are seeking a DTA - Project Mgr & Access Management to manage the DTA program initiatives that improve process reliability, compliance, productivity, and user experience and access management for Bots. The role involves managing cross-functional automation programs across areas, with hands-on engagement in program management, project management, delivery orchestration, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Program Leadership & Delivery:
-
Lead and manage multiple automation projects aligned with Shell’s Autonomous Finance roadmap.
-
Manage multiple automation projects across Power Automate, RPA platforms (Blue Prism), SAP S/4HANA automation toolsets, Document Intelligence, AI models, and workflow solutions.
-
Drive governance through project charters, value tracking, business case validation, delivery reviews, and documentation.
2. Access Management
-
Create and manage RPA bot functional IDs within defined SLAs.
-
Ensure all access provisioning adheres to IRM, IT Controls, SoX, and segregation-of-duties guidelines.

Maintain secure password handling using Azure Key Vault, including automated resets aligned to Shell password policies.
3.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement:
-
Collaborate closely with FO process owners, SMEs, Operational Excellence, SAP Access & Security, IRM, and IDT teams to ensure smoother delivery of automation opportunities.

Assess automation ideas, translate them into structured deliverables, and manage prioritization.

Ensure clear communication flows across business stakeholders, Co Es, and leadership teams.
4. Value Realization
- Track value realization and ensure automation meets DTA targets for efficiency and reliability.
5. Governance, Controls & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with Shell’s frameworks including:
-
IT Controls Framework
-
Information Risk Management (IRM)
-
SoX and internal audit requirements
-
Data privacy standards
-
Conduct periodic automation health checks, manage risk remediation, and support audit reviews
Required Skills & Experience
-
5-8 years of relevant end-to-end project or program management experience, with 5+ years in Intelligent Automation / Digital Transformation within global enterprises.

Experience in finance process domains (AP, AR, R2R, Cash Application, Bank Reconciliation, Tax, etc.).
-
Experience in the Financial Industry is highly preferred.

Hands-on exposure to automation platforms:

Power Automate (Desktop and Cloud)
-
Blue Prism / Ui Path
-
SAP automation (S/4, GSAP, BAPIs, i Docs, batch jobs)
-
AI/ML / Document Intelligence (OCR/IDP)
-
Strong grounding in risk management, operational controls, and FO governance frameworks.
-
Proficiency in digital tools
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work across FO, IT, IRM, and Finance Process Excellence teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, ITIL.

Understanding of Shell’s digital platforms: Power Platform Centre of Excellence (PP CoE).
-
Prior experience in managing delivery across multi-location teams in Shell FO hubs.
