Jobs
Role Overview:
As the APAC Business Manager you will report to APAC GVP and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication among APAC CEG leadership, CEG global teams and other key stakeholders within Service Now to ensure operational excellence in the day-to-day running of the business, clear and cohesive communication strategy, and supporting the APAC GVP in their client and account engagements.
This role requires exceptional judgement, discretion, and the ability to operate at pace with incomplete information. You will regularly act as the APAC CEG GVP’s proxy in internal settings, and your effectiveness is measured by how well the APAC CEG GVP and the APAC CEG leadership team can focus on their highest-leverage activities.
Primary Obligation: Chief of Staff to the APAC CEG VP
Executive Calendar & Travel Management
- Own the APAC CEG GVP’s APAC calendar: prioritise, protect, and optimise her time across internal meetings, customer engagements, partner events, and leadership forums.
- Coordinate travel logistics, external event preparation, and briefing materials in partnership with the EA.
- Maintain situational awareness of the APAC CEG GVP’s commitments across time zones and ensure she is always prepared for the next engagement.
Customer & Partner Engagement Preparation
- Support the APAC CEG GVP on all customer and partner interactions: schedule and prepare briefings with account teams, prepare leadership for meetings, attend where required, document follow-ups, and ensure fast progress on agreed actions.
- Support internal customer and account reviews: meeting prep, account research, and cross-team engagement.
- Generate an intentional and impactful pipeline of executive customer engagements — strategic alignment, executive sponsorships, value and maturity conversations.
Executive Communications
- Prepare and review internal and external communications on the APAC CEG GVP’s behalf: Town Hall materials, leadership messages, LT updates, and transformation programme announcements.
- Ensure the APAC CEG GVP’s voice and priorities are reflected consistently in all APAC CEG internal communications, particularly during periods of travel or absence.
- Oversee the APAC CEG internal communications calendar in partnership with the Strategic Initiatives Director: Town Halls, transformation change communications, and cascade of global CEG programme updates.
Leadership Meeting Management
- Plan and facilitate APAC CEG LT meetings: set agenda inputs, ensure discussions are efficient and outcomes-focused, and track follow-through on commitments.
- Prepare strategic documentation, briefings, and presentations to support APAC CEG leadership forums and the APAC CEG GVP’s participation in global CEG forums.
- Manage the meeting rhythm across APAC sub-regions and cross-functional partners, ensuring the right people are connected at the right time.
Proxy & Stakeholder Representation
- Act as the APAC CEG GVP’s proxy in internal settings when required: ELT coordination, cross-functional meetings, and stakeholder alignment calls.
- Act as an internal influencer, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture across APAC CEG.
- Support executive onboarding for new APAC CEG leaders, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with CEG objectives.
Strategic Programs, Comms and Change Management
- Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and communications for APAC-originated strategic programmes including APAC QBRs, leadership events, and outreach campaigns.
- Support the strategic Initiatives Director on programme execution, acting as the operational interface between strategy and the programme delivery.
- Own the execution of APAC CEG internal communications: Town Halls, transformation programme announcements, leadership cascade, and culture communications.
- Translate the Transformation and Strategic change management strategy and programme updates into clear, timely, and well-crafted communications for the APAC CEG field.
- Manage the APAC CEG internal communications calendar, ensuring messages land at the right time and in the right channel for each audience.
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 10+ years of experience in business management, executive support, operations, or programme management roles within a global technology or SaaS organisation.
- Demonstrated experience supporting C-suite or VP-level leaders in a Chief of Staff or senior EA capacity, ideally across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS business models, customer success, and go-to-market motions.
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills; ability to manage competing demands with grace and without losing track of critical commitments.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to craft executive-level narratives and represent the leader’s voice accurately.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal judgement; able to build trusted relationships across senior stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed global environments across multiple APAC time zones.
- APAC market familiarity — understanding of business culture and stakeholder dynamics across ANZ, India, and Asia is strongly preferred.
Personal Attributes:
- Discretion & Judgement: Handles sensitive information and high-stakes situations with the composure of a trusted confidant.
- Anticipates Rather Than Reacts: Stays three steps ahead of the APAC CEG GVP’s needs; spots gaps before they become problems.
- Masterful Communicator: Writes and speaks with clarity, precision, and the APAC CEG GVP’s voice when required. Never over-communicates or under-communicates.
- Resilient & Composed: Remains effective under pressure, ambiguity, and high pace. Inspires calm in others.
- Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and context changes rapidly.
- Connector: Naturally builds relationships across teams and functions; seen as a trusted interface by CEG leaders and cross-functional partners alike.

Am I missing something in ServiceNow (NOW) stock?
The earnings looked great, the CEO is awesome and his moves show he has full faith in the company. (I.E. the share buyback announced seems like a love letter to shareholders). Its partnerships with open AI and Anthropic seem like they are going to help the product, not hurt it. Its users are still
