The Senior Manager, Market Intelligence – Security Market Insights will drive strategic competitive initiatives critical to Service Now's continued market leadership in security operations and risk management. You will lead the formulation and execution of competitive strategies focused on Security Operations (Sec Ops), Vulnerability Response, and broader security orchestration capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Strategy, and will directly support Service Now's largest and most strategically important deals involving security solutions.

**What you get to do in this role:  **

  • Develop and implement competitive GTM programs designed to enhance Service Now's market positioning in the security technology space and drive revenue growth.
  • Define and execute Service Now's competitive strategy against security vendors including Crowd Strike, Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, Microsoft Security, and emerging players in SOAR, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership in Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Strategy to create integrated product and GTM strategies for security offerings.
  • Provide direct competitive intelligence support on strategic, high-stakes deals to ensure competitive wins against security-focused competitors.
  • Produce and deliver high-quality competitive briefs, analyses, and regular updates to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the enterprise security technology landscape, including familiarity with SOAR, SIEM, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and security orchestration platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling narratives and clearly articulate complex security concepts to executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to synthesize large and complex data sets into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated program and project management capabilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of the enterprise software industry, with specific expertise in Service Now's Security Operations offerings and competitive landscape.
  • Prior experience leading competitive intelligence or strategic marketing initiatives at a security technology vendor or enterprise software company with significant security offerings. Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and business acumen. Experience working directly with C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders. Understanding of security buyer personas, including CISOs, SOC leaders, and security architects. Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and common compliance requirements.
