The Service Now Partner Design Studio is looking for a** Solution Architect** with a passion for innovation, co-creation, and cutting-edge design practices. What you get to do in this role:
As a member of the Partner Design Studio, you’ll co-create offerings with some of the world’s most strategic partners. You’ll be a key contributor in designing and guiding AI-infused Service Now solutions that address real-world business challenges.
The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
- Partner-Facing Technical Leadership: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior partner and executive stakeholders, leading strategy and architecture discussions that translate business priorities into scalable Service Now solutions.
- Service Now Platform Mastery & Architectural Governance: Provide deep expertise across the Service Now platform including workflows, integrations, data, instance health, and governance to define roadmaps and enforce leading architectural practices.
- Discovery & Solution Design Facilitation: Lead structured discovery and design workshops to de-risk solutions, including persona development, service blueprinting, and translating insights into actionable technical plans.
- Hands-On Build Guidance & Store Readiness: Guide partners through best-practice implementation, technical reviews, and solution readiness, working closely with Certification teams to support Store submission and recertification.
- Reference Architectures & Reusable Assets: Create and maintain high-quality reference architectures, patterns, and templates that scale across partners and accelerate delivery and time to value.
- Partner Offering Creation & Go-To-Market Alignment: Co-create partner offerings aligned to Service Now GTM strategies and business unit roadmaps, supporting launch planning and market clarity.
- Impact-Driven Use Case Validation: Prioritize high-value use cases, ensuring alignment with Product and Industry BUs for feasibility, differentiation, and relevance.
- Outcome and KPI Ownership: Drive toward measurable outcomes such as pipeline influence, Store readiness, certification progress, and revenue impact while tracking engagement KPIs end to end.
- Cross-Functional Technical Orchestration: Act as the technical hub across Partner Managers, Solution Consultants, ACE, and Business Units, coordinating intake, scope, alignment, and handoffs without slowing execution.
- AI Fluency & Emerging Technology Leadership: Advise partners on adoption of AI and emerging technologies, positioning AI-enabled architectures and creating reusable patterns that drive real business outcomes.
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 8+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar roles.
- AI Integration & Implementation: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. (This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry).
- Service Now Certifications: Certified System Administrator, Application Developer
- AI & Automation Expertise: Knowledge of how to apply generative AI, predictive analytics, or automation tools in enterprise solutions.
- Partner-First Experience: Significant experience working with technology partners, at either a partner or OEM level with a proven ability to guide partners through complex solution designs and business strategy discussions.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong grasp of cloud platform architecture including SaaS, PaaS, automation, and multi-tenancy.
- Executive Communication: Clear communicator, comfortable engaging at the CXO level and translating complex topics into actionable insights.
Preferred & Standout Experience
- Elite Certifications: Existing Certified Master Architect and/or Certified Technical Architect or on path to complete is a plus
- Deep curiosity and interest in AI technologies and emerging trends.
- Industry Experience: Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Public Sector is a plus.
- Service Now Platform Development: Experience building solutions directly on the Service Now platform.
- Design Thinking: Training or certification in Design Thinking and applying these principles in co-creation with partners.
- Business Development Background: Experience developing partner go-to-market plans or new solution plays.
- Competitive Platforms: Familiarity with alternative cloud or enterprise software platforms is a plus.
- Travel for partner, customer, and organizational activities up to 25%.
