What you get to do in this role:

  • Drive deep observability and service level management initiatives (SLIs/SLOs) across infrastructure and platform services.
  • Use your expertise in software development, systems engineering, and networking to proactively prevent repeatable issues and eliminate toil at its source.
  • Lead reliability engineering engagements with partner teams to enable them to build, maintain, and improve their products with confidence.
  • Champion resilient architecture design and operationalization practices across the engineering organization.
  • Drive a culture of engineering excellence by building scalable, automated solutions that embed reliability at the point of development.
  • Develop and advance monitoring, automation, and reliability frameworks that raise the maturity of services organization-wide.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving - including AI-powered tooling, workflow automation, or AI-driven insights.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux systems.
  • 5+ years' experience with DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years' experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
  • Expertise in observability and monitoring of applications, services, and networks at scale - including SLI/SLO definition and service level management.
  • 10+ years of coding across various languages; Python, JavaScript, and Ruby preferred.
  • MySQL database administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Networking skills including IP addressing and routing.
  • Team-first attitude with uncompromising attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience developing on the Service Now Platform is a bonus.
