Service Now is seeking an exceptional Enterprise Architect to join our pre-sales team in Hong Kong. As a trusted technical advisor to our most strategic customers, you'll bridge business strategy with technology execution, helping C-suite leaders across Asia-Pacific understand how the Now Platform can transform their organizations. This role combines deep technical expertise with executive presence, requiring someone who can architect enterprise-wide solutions while inspiring confidence at the CIO/CTO level.

The Enterprise Architecture team serves as the technical cornerstone of our pre-sales organization, building credibility through real-world experience, architectural excellence, and the ability to translate the "platform of platforms" vision into tangible business outcomes. You'll lead complex solution design engagements, facilitate strategic workshops, and shape how our largest customers leverage Service Now to enable digital transformation across their enterprise.

What you get to do in this role:

Strategic Customer Engagement

  • Partner with C-suite executives (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs) to identify strategic pain points and architect solutions that deliver measurable business value
  • Lead architecture discovery sessions to understand current-state environments, business drivers, and technical constraints
  • Translate customer business strategies into comprehensive Service Now solution roadmaps spanning IT Transformation, Digital Products/Services, Enterprise Service Management, and industry-specific innovations

Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture

  • Design and communicate enterprise-grade architectures that demonstrate how Service Now's single platform (one UI, one codebase, one data model) solves complex business challenges
  • Lead architecture workshops, proofs-of-concept, and technical deep-dives with customer architecture teams and technology partners
  • Apply enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, IT4IT, BIAN, TMForum) to create solutions that align with customer architecture standards and governance models
  • Architect integration strategies that position Service Now within customers' existing and future technology landscapes, including hybrid cloud, legacy systems, and emerging technologies

Thought Leadership & Innovation

  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey, maintaining relationships from initial engagement through post-sale transformation
  • Collaborate with Service Now product teams, engineering, and customer success to influence platform direction based on field insights
  • Develop best practices, reference architectures, white papers, and enablement content that elevate the team's architectural capabilities
  • Co-create industry-specific solutions and patterns that address vertical market needs across APAC

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Partners, and Professional Services to deliver cohesive customer experiences
  • Engage with customer stakeholders at all levels—from Enterprise Architects and Domain Architects to VPs and C-suite executives
  • Guide sales teams on technical positioning, competitive differentiation, and architectural approaches for strategic opportunities

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Passion and energy for building business relationships and is accustomed to driving the simplification of complex concepts into compelling customer proposals
  • Drive for results using out-of-the-box innovative thinking together with excellent problem-solving skills
  • An intrinsic ability to understand and prioritize work and is willing to make big bets when the time is right, to invest time and energy in the right areas.
  • Willingness to jump-in and roll-up their sleeves alongside customers, colleagues and partners to get things done faster and better.
  • 10 or more years of proven success in influencing senior technology leaders to drive change in a pre-sales, customer, or delivery focused role.
  • A track record of success in using Human Centered Design techniques to explore the customers current reality and set a vision for the future.
  • Expertise designing, implementing and managing advanced architectures in an application domain and integrating multiple systems or platforms
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture or Application Architecture pre-sales in a software vendor or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with common Enterprise and Industry Architecture frameworks such as: TOGAF, Zachman, IT4IT, BIAN, TMForum, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation
  • Experience and understanding of multiple technical domains - application, data, DevOps, AI/ML, integration, big data, mobility, analytics, etc.
  • Intrinsically curious and passionate about researching current and emerging technologies and developing innovative solutions
  • Experience presenting architecture concepts, designs, and goals to technology leaders and partner
