RN PreOp-PACU - Part time - La Jolla

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has served the greater San Diego community since 1924. Scripps La Jolla shares a campus with the Barbey Family Emergency and Trauma Center, a Level I Trauma Center, and the renowned Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.

This is a Part time, benefited Pre Op- PACU position at the Ambulatory surgery center (Ximed) at La Jolla Memorial hospital. It is a varied shift. M-F with a start time between 0530-1000. No weekends, holidays or call.

Incentive of $2K for eligible new hires.

• Join our Ambulatory Surgery center as a Registered Nurse (RN) with our Pre Op

• PACU recovery team at Scripps Memorial Hospital (Ximed) La Jolla. You will:

• Manage pre-op admissions and all surgery prep functions

• PACU recovery of patients through discharge.

• Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

· Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

· Must remain in original department/specialty

· Must remain in original Job Title

· Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required

• One (1) year of RN outpatient experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2 or more years in an ASC
• Pre Op- PACU, ICU experience.

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
