Manager, Engineering Operations - Corporate

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospital campuses, 31 outpatient centers, clinics, emergency rooms, urgent care sites, along with our 17,000 employees, more than 3,000 affiliated physicians and 2,000 volunteers.

This is a full-time, salaried leadership position based out of Scripps Corporate Office in La Jolla and will require the flexibility to travel to other site locations. This position is strictly onsite Monday-Friday and will require the availability to be on call weekends and evenings to support projects and emergency oversight as needed including rotating on-call shifts every 3rd week of the month.

The Manager of Engineering Operations is responsible for ensuring the site/facility is prepared for accreditation surveys. Ensures compliance with established standards for quality-of-service indicators, appearance, cleanliness, repair and condition of facility. Investigates delays on work orders, solves problems and ensures completion of work, initiating response to issues which require further action and follow up. Maintains integrity of all engineering programs, systems and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years experience in Facilities Services
• 2 years experience in a Supervisory/leadership role within healthcare.
• High school diploma/GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• Experience within an acute care setting.
• Lease and Property Management experience

Position Pay Range: $56.96-$82.59/hour
