About the role

Bid Strategy, Solutioning & Governance Lead bid/no‑bid decisioning, win strategy, and value proposition planning. Develop bid plans, schedules, and compliance matrices; ensure on‑time submissions. Coordinate with Engineering for solution design, clarifications, and scope definition. Freeze boundaries, interfaces, and assumptions to avoid scope creep. Prepare cost models, evaluate risks, apply contingencies, and finalize sell price with price‑to‑win insights. Review T&Cs, LDs, liabilities, warranties, payment terms, taxes, and Incoterms; drive deviation lists with Legal/Finance. Proposal Development & Handover Prepare complete technical and commercial proposals, execution plans, and QA/QC deliverables. Manage pre‑bid meetings, portal uploads, customer clarifications, and presentations. Conduct smooth handover to Project Management with scope, risks, cost baseline, and assumptions clearly documented. Contract Review & Risk Analysis Review contracts, POs, amendments, and customer obligations in detail. Identify commercial, technical, and delivery risks and communicate them to internal teams. Ensure understanding of key clauses: LDs, timelines, approvals, payment terms, and documentation obligations. Customer Communication & Kick-Off Act as the primary customer point of contact for post‑order execution. Conduct Kick‑off Meetings and share schedules, documentation plans, and contractual milestones. Ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal execution teams. Engineering Submittals & Approvals Ensure timely submission of drawings, datasheets, QAP, ITP, and other contractual documents. Track approval cycles and ensure compliance within contract validity timelines. Escalate delays to avoid impact on production or LD exposure. Manufacturing Clearance & Production Tracking Release Manufacturing/Fabrication Clearance (MFC) proactively. Monitor manufacturing progress, identify risks, and resolve bottlenecks early. Ensure readiness for inspection and dispatch as per committed timelines. Delivery, Inspection & Documentation Track delivery readiness, packing, logistics, and dispatch status. Raise inspection calls and ensure timely customer/third‑party inspections. Secure DI/Dispatch Clearance and ensure all dispatch documents meet contractual requirements. Commercial Coordination & Cashflow Ensure timely opening/amendment of LCs and submission of ABG/PBG as per contract. Support Finance with documentation needed for timely payment collection. Monitor GRN/IRN, inspection reports, and site confirmations to avoid payment delays. Contractual Letters & Margin Protection Draft and send timely contractual letters for delays, pending approvals, LC issues, DI delays, etc. Maintain documentation for claims, audits, and commercial protection. Proactively issue communication to avoid LDs, disputes, and margin leakage. Internal Coordination & Compliance Work with Engineering, SCM, QA/QC, Finance, Planning, Dispatch, and PM teams across the lifecycle. Ensure compliance with contract terms, SOPs, and quality requirements. Maintain dashboards, risk registers, trackers, and project documentation for closure.
