The Global HSE Leader for One SOL&SO is responsible for providing strategic HSE business partnership to the entity, focusing on the Occupational Health and Safety system, engaging direct and indirect stakeholders in the organization, designing and deploying key HSE inittiatives/solutions and animating the technical community at regional/country level. This role reports directly to the SVP of One SOL&SO, President of the business entity.
About One SOL&SO:
One SOL&SO organization bring together all project and services delivery capabilities, ensuring consistency and continuity of our setup along the entire engagement lifecycle of project to services.
Mandate: The mandate encompasses a diverse portfolio covering all technology areas within Energy Management. This includes established segments such as Energies & Chemicals, Power & Grid, Cloud & Service Providers, as well as emerging electro-intensive areas like Semi-Con and Electric Vehicle Battery manufacturers.
Organisation: One SOL&SO organisation is confirgured around 2 main areas: Governance/Operations
- Governance (Globalized Support Functions, called Cockpit) enforce fundamentals of projects & services business, with End-to-End Governance across all Energy Management businesses
- Operations drive performance of Projects & Services business from tendering to execution.
Set-up: To better answer our customer needs, we leverage a Global/Regional/Local set-up and we drive the tendering and execution for Projects & Services delivery models, either directly or functionally
The HSE Global leader is accountable for designing and implementing HSE strategies and programs covering both the hierarchical & functional scope of the One SOL&SO Mandate:
- Hierarchical: approx 2000 HC covering Cockpit, One SOL Ops leading the large and complex projects, Proximity Application Centres in Digital Power, Secure Power & Multi-techno, Regional Services Operations
- Functional: approx 7000 HC covering Services Operations in Ops and Power Systems Application Centres
Requirements:
Global HSE strategy Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategy, policies and directives applying to the Global Projects and Services Operations activities. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to build an organizational structure, plan activities, assign responsibilities, develop safe working practices and implement management procedures. The application of a plan-do-check-act framework may be applied. Scope includes employees, customers, contractors, and partners who performing customer sites activities or work on behalf of Schneider Electric. Define the HSE vision, clearly articulates how it can be achieved and what needs to be done to realise it. Influence across a wide range of stakeholders and ensure their peers and direct reports see and share the HSE vision. HSE Programs Oversee the management of HSE programs across hierarchical and functional scopes, ensuring adherence to global standards and regulations and fostering safety & environment culture and continuous improvement in One SOL&SO.
Including Risk Assessment, Mitigation & investigation, Site specific Risk assesment, Health and Environmental Compliance, HSE training.
Global KPIs tracking and targets definition for the One SOL&SO scope, analyse and propose actions for improvement. Incidents Management Includes incident investigation techniques (5 why, fault tree, fishbone, etc.) and reporting. Apply different procedures to deal with incidents of differing severity. Identify stakeholders and engage them appropriately in the investigation. Safety culture Develop a culture of reporting accidents and near misses, follow up investigations and assist in the creation of action plans to prevent re-occurrence. Contractor Safety Management Oversee the safety management of contractors engaged in field operations, ensuring that they comply with safety standards and regulations while working on One SOL&SO projects. HSE Community development Lead global HSE community for One SOL & SO, including all regions and ensuring alignment and consistency within countries.
Global HSE advisor for technical related topics in One SOL & SO.
Strenghten and develop HSE specialized community with technical competency to manage HSE aspects in One SOL&SO (mainly in electrical safety).
Establish global governance to manage One SOL&SO HSE community. Steering committees Global single point of contact for One SOL & SO being part of the following steering committees: Glpbal Health & Safety SteerCO, OSSC (Offer Safety Steer Co), OSAC (Offer Safety Alert Steer Co), One SOL&SO Management Committee, One SOL Ops Management Committee.
