We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Intern to support the financial and operational activities of our manufacturing plant. This role provides hands-on exposure to cost analysis, budgeting, operational performance tracking, and financial reporting within a dynamic production environment.
***Location: Planta 4 monterrey: Neutron #110 Stiva Airport Park Apodaca, N.L.*Scheme: 4 days on site, 1 day HO.Morning availabilities.

Participation in Finance Transformation

Support the GSC Finance Planning and Logistics team
-Collaborate with operations teams to gather and validate data related to manufacturing costs, productivity, and efficiency metrics.
-Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by consolidating information and performing preliminary analysis.
-Help maintain accurate records for audits and compliance requirements.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn about plant operations and apply financial knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- Proactive Mindset: Takes initiative in exploring issues, seeking information, and proposing improvements.

Who will you report to?
This position reports directly to the Plant Business Finance Controller, who will provide guidance, coaching, and oversight of all assigned activities. This is a single contributor role with exposure to multiple functions across the plant, some of the stakeholders are: supply chaing, logistics, quality team, operations, costing, shared services, and engineering.

Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) to analyze large datasets and support reporting.

Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is beneficial and supports accurate data extraction and analysis.

Basic understanding of cost accounting, inventory concepts, and manufacturing KPIs (e.g., scrap, productivity, material variances).

Curiosity to understand how manufacturing processes connect with financial performance.
