The Tech IV provides technical expertise to support the daily operation of the department.
This role supports the team by being the first point of contact for questions, resolving issues & Andons in real time, reinforcing standardized work, driving continuous improvement, and developing team capability.
The Tech IV may perform production tasks and/or training as needed.
Shift: 1st shift (5a-1:30p) Key Responsibilities Act as first point of contact for associate questions and respond to Andons (if applicable) Must have hands-on experience in all areas within the department Possess comprehensive knowledge and understanding of departmental operations and the requirements needed to achieve maximum productivity.
Perform production tasks throughout the shift in support of daily production targets and goals – associate should expect to work on the production line for the majority of the shift.
Cross-train and rotate through various positions within the department as needed to provide additional support.
Conduct on-the-job training for newly hired and/or transferred employees.
Assist with coordinating job rotation and daily workforce assignments Assist with and/or lead SIM meetings as needed.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior leadership or team lead experience within Schneider Electric required Must be in a Team Lead, Tech IV or Training role currently Ability to read/interpret diagrams, schedules, BOMs, and work instructions.
Familiarity with SPS, 5S, PDCA, and continuous improvement tools preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in SAP, LDS, DiSS, Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements Standing, squatting, overhead reaching, pushing/pulling, and climbing ladders throughout shift.
Ability to lift 22 lbs repetitively or 26 lbs occasionally.
May operate PITs, forklifts, TSP, or water spiders depending on department.
Flexibility with work hours to support production needs, including weekday and/or weekend overtime.
