Junior Service Engineer

Are you a recent graduate or at the beginning of your professional journey, this is your opportunity to grow into a Field Service professional through our Nordic Service Bootcamp Program.
In 2026, we are launching a new Nordic Service Bootcamp, and we are looking for Junior Service Engineers to join us across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. This is a full‑time, permanent position where you will start your career in a structured development program and continue as a Service Engineer after completion.
About the Nordic Service Bootcamp Program
The Nordic Service Bootcamp is a 9‑month, full‑time development program starting in June 2026, designed to give you the skills, confidence, and real‑world experience needed to succeed as a Service Engineer at Schneider Electric.
From day one, you will:
- Be part of a Nordic community of early‑career service professionals
- Receive extensive onboarding during your first month, focused on Schneider Electric, safety, systems, and ways of working
- Combine technical training with real customer site visits, ensuring that what you learn is immediately applied in practice
- Be paired with experienced senior Service colleagues who will coach, mentor, and support your development
- Gradually take on more responsibility as your skills grow
After successfully completing the program, you will continue your career as a Service Engineer within Schneider Electric, based in either our
Gothenburg or Stockholm office! Your responsibilities will include: Installation & Maintenance
- Commissioning, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing customer equipment
- Ensuring high performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction
Technical Support
- Providing technical support for Schneider Electric products and selected competitive equipment
- Supporting customers in solving technical challenges efficiently
Safety & Compliance
- Working according to strict safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards
- Performing all interventions with a strong safety‑first mindset
Customer Interaction
- Analyzing equipment issues and interpreting technical documentation
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers on‑site
- Expected travel up to 60%, including customer sites
No two days will be the same - you'll learn on the job, meet different customers, and grow alongside experienced colleagues.
Your Profile We believe attitude and motivation are just as important as technical skills. You might be a great fit if you have:
- A technical degree in electrical, mechanical, cooling engineering, or a related field
- Interest in power distribution, energy systems, and sustainability
- A curious mindset and strong motivation to learn
- A customer‑oriented, solution‑focused approach
- Ability to work well in a team and learn under supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a responsible approach to safety
- Clear communication skills and willingness to report and follow procedures accurately
- Openness to digital tools, new technologies, and AI
- Nordic language skills and English (beneficial)
- A valid driver's license
