Key mission of the LOB Planning Assistant intern is to support on the execution and continuous improvement of a monthly, cross-functional, distribution forecasting process for his/her respective territory. The primary objective is to analyze and follow up inventory/supply KPI's to target to ultimately improve on-time delivery (customer service) while allowing for reduced inventory requirements. Candidate will be a confident and credible voice representing the Supply Planning function and support to drive cash efficiency and service level.
Essential duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- • Accountable to Analyze and follow up on Distribution Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, Unhealthy Stock (UHS), Customer Service, Cost to Serve, etc. through control of COGS-in & COGS-out volume planning
- Support on the data preparation and coordinate the regional monthly **Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)**for full transactional business scope within defined perimeter (Products X DCs) and check the forecast at reference level in ERP for execution at all nodes.
- Understand demand drivers to ensure right balance of demand / supply in collaboration with Downstream Planning Leaders and the Demand Planners(deviation & assumptions) in the region planners +**Supply & Inventory Planners **in other regions, Activsupporting NPI/EOL projects in collaboration with **Supply Chain Design Leaders **of the Business Unit.
- Prepare data analysis and follow up on Replenishment Strategy & Supply Chain Parameters(stocking policy, time-phased safety stock, forecast upload and consumption rules, reorder point, ramp up/down linked to strategic inventory and anticipation stocks, lead-time) & monitor and track on master data consistency to achieve expected customer service while optimizing the health & level of inventory.
- Identify Circular Supply Chain opportunities(rebalance, promotion, re-use, re-distribute, repair, recycle) & ensure execution in collaboration with flow controllers.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Active student (D3/D4/S1) (max. 8th semester) from Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related major
- Knowledgeable in supply chain management
- Proficiency in SC tools (ex: ERP systems) and MS Office
