We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to join our Quality Validation Engineering (QVE) Project team focused on UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and PDU (Power Distribution Unit) products within the Data Center Systems (DCS) division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, reliability, and compliance through comprehensive testing and validation processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute V&V test plans for UPS and PDU products based on product specifications and industry standards.
- Design and implement test cases covering functional, performance, environmental, and safety aspects.
- Conduct manual and automated testing using tools such as LabVIEW, Python, and standard electrical test equipment.
- Document test procedures, results, and anomalies; maintain traceability between requirements and test outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, firmware, hardware, and quality to resolve issues and improve product performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IEC, UL, IEEE, and support certification processes.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in V&V or product testing, preferably in power electronics or data center infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, environmental chambers, and other test equipment.
- Familiarity with V&V methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, Six Sigma, or equivalent are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with UPS and PDU product lines.
- Knowledge of data center operations and electrical distribution systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on quality and innovation
