What will you do?

Role: Senior V&V Engineer – Validation & Verification (Power Electronics & Solar Domain) Job description: Own the complete test lifecycle (planning → execution → reporting → closure) for multiple V&V projects simultaneously.

Prepare detailed V&V plans, test strategy, traceability matrices, and risk assessments aligned with functional requirements and use cases.

Establish test schedules, resource plans, and test infrastructure requirements for assigned projects.

Guide and mentor junior test engineers; review test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Lead V&V of Solar Inverters, Hybrid/Off‑grid/Grid‑tie systems, UPS, battery chargers, and related power conversion products.

Deep understanding of power sharing, MPPT operation, inverter control logic, grid-interaction behavior, and protection mechanisms.

Hands-on validation of DC and AC systems up to 1000 Vdc and 230/400 Vac, power ratings from few watts to multi‑kilowatt systems (2–5 kW).

Define and validate system behavior under various electrical, environmental, and real-world usage scenarios.

Understanding of Lead-acid, Li-ion, LFP, Sodium-ion and other emerging battery chemistries.

Validate charge-discharge characteristics, communication interfaces (BMS protocols), and inverter-battery interaction.

Lead testing of wireless/IoT gateways used for inverter monitoring & remote control.

Prepare & execute test plans for: Connectivity (Wi‑Fi, BLE, GSM/LTE, Ethernet), Cloud integration & data logging Mobile/Web application interfaces Validate end-to-end data flow from device → gateway-> gateway server Expert in reading electrical schematics, system wiring diagrams, and guiding hardware setup creation.

Ensure compliance testing as per relevant IEC standards for safety, EMC, performance & reliability. (IEC 62109, IEC 61683, IEC 61000-x, etc.) Summarize results in professional reports suitable for stakeholders Hands-on with: Power Analyzers, Energy Meters, Oscilloscopes, Voltage/Current probes, CTs, AC/DC power supplies, PV Array Simulators, Electronic Loads (AC/DC) Familiarity with test automation tools or simulation platforms: LabVIEW, etc Ability to read/write and validate communication protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, RS485, CAN, TCP/IP Understanding of cloud architectures, IoT protocols, and data visualization platforms.

Prepare high-quality test documents: Test Plans, Test Cases, Bug Reports, Test Summary & Final Release Reports Drive continuous improvement in test processes, automation opportunities, and defect prevention strategies.

Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of Power Electronics & Solar domain. 3-7 years of experience in product V&V, system validation, and test leadership.

Ability to lead projects independently, manage timelines, and communicate effectively.

Troubleshooting & analytical skills for complex electrical/electronics systems.

Experience: handling at least 5–10 major V&V projects in Solar/Inverter/Gateway domain.
