Join us as a Procurement Intern to make an impact!
You will join the Procurement team, where we execute procurement projects for long term goals and sustainability impact in East Asia region.
Mission (About the Role) You will join the East Asia procurement team to support manufacturing plants in the region, in which you will work with stakeholders from various functions, and suppliers.
This role will require use of digital tools and perform data analysis.
Support regional project management on risk and resilience analysis by suppliers and parts.
Map & benchmark the region metallic price trend for scrap recovery rate, explore cost savings opportunities.
Contribute to Schneider Electric & supplier partners sustainability initiatives.
Participate in the development of procurement process effectiveness and assist on procurement digitization / AI tools deployment.
What will you do?
Perform data collection, consolidation, analysis by plants, parts & suppliers for resilience and risk mitigation.
Monitor market price trend on base-metals, Request for Quotations (RFQ), and collect data on scrap for driving best-in-class recovery scrap rate for the region.
Learn about FC/RM items knowledge & elements that affect pricing, and learn how to conduct e-RFP, e-Reverse Auction via Schneider Supplier Portal (SSP-SRM).
Contribute to Schneider Sustainability Impact – Engage suppliers on replacement of Single-use plastic, CO2 emission reduction, promote Decent Work program & etc.
Analyze suppliers’ data, contracts, perform mapping and assist in data digitization leveraging AI tools, with the use of visual chart, tableau & etc.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Science / Business Management / Supply Chain / Data Analytics / IT / Mathematics / Economics or similar Skills/Systems Knowledge: Must have MS WORD, EXCEL, Power-point, Outlook, TEAMS, One Drive, Key tools include Copilot (AI assistant), Power Platform (BI, Automate, Apps).
Good to have – Tableau / Java / Python/SQL.
