Position Name: Manager

  • Firmware Design Work Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai Educational Qualification: B.E.(Electrical/Electronics) /MTech (Electrical/Electronics/ Power electronics)

Experience: 3- 8 years

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C.
  • Selection of controller/DSP for power electronics applications and as per product requirement
  • Developing control code in C programming for embedded controllers like TI, Microchip, ST etc. for power electronics and motor control application, Motor protections.
  • HMI coding for parameter navigations and settings.
  • Develop generic coding libraries which can be reused horizontally across projects.
  • Communication protocol, UART, Mod Bus, TCP/IP, I2C, SPI
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: software specifications / requirements confirmation, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering.
  • Debug and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Document design specifications, code, and test procedures.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C programming.
  • Solid understanding of the embedded development life cycle and best practices.
  • Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Motor control algorithm (v/f, vector control, sensor less -IM, PMSM), PWM techniques, Inverter, DC-DC converter, Battery charging algorithms, MPPT algorithms for solar inverters/drives
  • Knowhow of MATLAB - Simulink
  • Cybersecurity features like firmware authentication, bootloader
