Mission
Being part of the R&D team, as an Electrical Design Engineer you will be supporting us on the design of electrical distribution systems, with a focus on power electronics and new product development. You will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, conduct analysis, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations to deliver innovative solutions for the New Energy Distribution system.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end the electrical design and development of new solutions, in accordance with the specified requirements and quality standards.
- Creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Verifying and validating the design through simulations (Simulink), test executions (laboratory testing), and reviews to ensure functionality and reliability
- Preparing and maintaining product documentation such as user manuals, material lists, and revision management for proper traceability and usability
- Proposing and implementing improvements in the current solutions
Required Skills:
- HBO or MSc in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience on detailed electrical schematics with ECAD tools (SEE Electrical or similar)
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations (i.e. IEC).
- Basic knowledge on EMC design
- Strong communication skills for internal and customer presentations
- Proactive mindset and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English; Dutch is an advantage
