Mission:

You will be responsible for planning and executing effective marketing activities that drive brand awareness and demand generation.

The mission of the Marketing Communication team is to provide customers and partners with a consistent brand experience and an end‑to‑end customer journey.

We translate global priorities and initiatives into actions tailored to the Japan market and contribute to business growth by delivering effective and measurable marketing programs.

Responsibilities:

This role covers the Japan market and supports multiple business segments, with an initial focus on the Secure Power segment. Marketing communication plays an important role as that the first contact for many customers providing products, solution, and service messages. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, plan, and execute strategic marketing activities across the most effective channels and media - to increase awareness and generate demand, while achieving measurable business outcomes. We also develop marketing content such as collateral, customer stories, case studies, and sales‑enablement tools.

This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Offer Marketing, Channel Marketing, Business Units, Commercial Operations, and global LoB teams. You will be expected to drive activities that deliver stronger commercial impact while partnering effectively with internal teams and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and measure marketing initiatives including events, digital advertising, eDM/SMA programs, and social media based on business strategy and priorities.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to further enhance marketing automation capabilities and maximize commercial impact through high‑quality lead generation.
  • Strengthen digital engagement through web, advertising, online media, social media, and marketing automation activities.
  • Work closely with PR to maximize brand exposure for Schneider Electric and associated brands across owned, social, and paid media.
  • Partner with external agencies to effectively deliver high‑quality outputs and improve overall marketing performance.

Who would be successful?

  • +5 years of experience in B2B marketing
  • +3 years of leadership experience leading a team or projects
  • Experienced in developing and executing both digital and physical marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of lead generation and understanding of those KPIs.
  • Ability to proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders (Japan and regional) and external agencies, while managing day‑to‑day tasks with accountability
  • Strong communication and influencing skills both in English and Japanese.
  • Self‑driven, goal‑oriented, data‑driven, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of autonomy, positive mindset, and strong interest in new initiatives and digital tools
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and learning agility

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry
  • Commercial experience such as sales or related roles
