We are currently seeking a talented RF Engineer to join the Innovation and Technology Team within Energy Management Business Unit.

Your role : You will support projects that aim to integrate Wireless technologies during the full lifecycle of the product.

You will be the main contact point for Europe on all Wireless topic related.

Your expertise in RF electronic design, RF propagation, antenna design, and RF lab equipment operation enables you to autonomously lead innovation activities, provide technical recommendations to projects, and develop high‑quality reference documentation.

Your open mindset and communication skills will allow you to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple regions.

Your responsibilities : Support to Projects Integrating Wireless Communication Provide expertise on wireless hardware, including reference design usage, component selection, schematic and layout reviews.

Adapt wireless reference designs to project constraints.

Follow and/or execute verification tests.

Support certification activities.

Define and validate RF industrial test strategies.

Lead Technology and Innovation Activities Contribute to the wireless connectivity technology roadmap: technological scouting, proposal and planning of technology actions.

Lead yearly technology actions in the Wireless domain.

Ensure the quality and relevance of deliverables.

Contribute to Wireless communication reference design development Collect and consolidate project needs to define brick specifications.

Benchmark vendors and select optimal solutions.

Specify brick schematic/layout, ESCQ, and starter kits.

Define verification plans and perform/interpret RF tests.

Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric standards (BOM, PDM, Cadence…).

Your profile : Master’s degree in RF Electronics (PhD in RF or Wireless Communications is a plus).

Strong knowledge of RF electronic design and RF constraints. +3 years of experience Hands‑on experience with RF test equipment: VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF generator.

Proficiency in RF simulation tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio, MATLAB) and antenna design.

Knowledge of complex propagation environments (metal, reberberant) would be a plus Fluent english Wireless technologies considered are Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, NFC, LPWAN (Lora, Sigfox, LTE-M, …), 5G.

You are able to evolve in an international context and you have a good understanding of industrial constraints.

You have demonstrated your capability to lead or to coordinate activities and you are able to deal with several topics in parallel.
