What will you do?

  • Lead Project Design role from Business Case validation, to concept, and Design and development and Execution.
  • Work with Cross functional teams like Product Owner and Industrial from project Definition to final execution with good collaboration.
  • Conduct Technical reviews within design team to validate Design maturity at Each stage gate for readiness and make good presentation to Steering committee to pass the stage gate.
  • Build V&V plan and make good risk assessment using standard.
  • Prepare good estimation on project design resource planning and Schedule considering the overall project Scope.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Skills needed:
    Strong Knowledge on Final Distribution products (MCB, RCCB, RCBO, Auxiliaries)

  • Well versed on MCB, Residual current devices with sound knowledge on

IEC and Indian standards

Adapting technologies (Relays / Core / Residual current chains / Architectures)

Qualification of components/Assemblies (Global / Local / Internal standards)

Value engineering / Productivity to be competitive

Production activities supporting product improvements & surveillance

  • Proficient in design of plastic parts & Sheet metal parts.

  • Knowledge on Tolerance analysis, CAD (Pro-e), DFM and materials selection

  • Excellent skills in concept generations (Innovative) in constrained electromechanical systems

  • Proficient in manual calculations & analytical skills

  • Understanding of Customer needs / inputs & able to convert into technical specifications

  • Knowledge on Quality aspects (Risk mitigation / Analysis, Quality tools, MDR / PRR, xFMEA...)

  • Actively contributes towards Innovation and development activities

  • Knowledge of PMP/ PEP process

  • Proven record of leading multidisciplinary global teams in complex project environment for at least 4-5 years

  • Good Presentation, communication skills & Leadership qualities

Experience: 6-10 years' experience in Switch gear industry
