As a Plant Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between the plant and the Front Office, responsible for ensuring flawless order execution from the moment it is received at the plant until shipment, while providing updates based on information from various stakeholders.

You will collaborate with both the Front Office and Back Office to mitigate risks and ensure effective cost management in support of project profitability.

Main Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for the Front Office (proactively communicate to flag any obstacles affecting order execution per the CPP).

Perform technical reviews based on the quotation, customer specifications, and applicable standards.

Plan projects at the plant level.

Ensure project execution within the plant and adherence to project schedules.

Coordinate meetings with plant stakeholders to track order progress (Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Assembly, Testing, Packaging).

Identify, mitigate, record, communicate, and monitor risks related to execution and costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve issues such as delays or missing parts (backorders, substitutions, acceptable deviations).

Analyze Change Orders and assess and mitigate their impact on cost and schedule.

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate witnessed tests.

Ensure project profitability through cost control.

Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; IGEE program is an asset.

Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (asset).

Bilingualism (French and English) is essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience: in project management and planning, risk management, and budgeting.

Practical experience with tools such as Windchill, Symmetry, BFO, MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, Primavera, SAP, etc. (asset).

Functional leadership skills to facilitate smooth project workflow.

Knowledge of low-voltage distribution required; medium voltage knowledge is an asset.

Knowledge of applicable standards and codes (ANSI/IEEE, CSA, Hydro-Québec, etc.) for low- and/or medium-voltage distribution equipment.

Strong ability to interpret technical documents.
