Job Purpose

To drive growth in digital services by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and leveraging technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions. This role bridges engineering and business development, ensuring alignment between customer needs and digital offerings.

  • Key Responsibilities- Business Development & Strategy
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in digital services.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical demonstrations of digital solutions.
  • Help sales team to Negotiate and close deals that deliver mutual value.
  • Technical & Solution Expertise
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand digital service offerings.
  • Provide technical support during pre-sales and solution design phases.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, IoT, analytics, and digital transformation trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and delivery teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Track KPIs, prepare reports, and present progress to management.
  • Continuously monitor industry developments and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Qualifications & Skills- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related) or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 8-15 years in business development, preferably in digital services or industrial automation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IoT platforms, SCADA, digital twins, cloud-based solutions, and cybersecurity.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform market research, ROI analysis, and develop actionable insights.
  • Desired Competencies
  • Strategic thinking with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
