What You’ll Build:

In this role, you’ll design and deliver cloud-native, enterprise-grade Java services that power SAP’s multi-cloud integration platform. You’ll architect scalable microservices, evolve our core cloud capabilities, and help shape the next generation of integration products used by thousands of customers worldwide.

You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to build new cloud features end-to-end—from concept to deployment—ensuring performance, reliability, security, and seamless customer experience. You’ll strengthen our multi-tenant environments, enhance automation, and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery. Your work will directly impact how global customers integrate and extend SAP solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud landscapes.

What You Bring:

• You’re a seasoned Java engineer who blends strong technical depth with a builder’s mindset. You enjoy solving complex distributed-system challenges, designing APIs and microservices, and working in cloud-first environments. You have:

• Deep hands-on experience (8+ years) designing and developing scalable Java/J2EE applications and cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and modern architectural patterns such as DDD, event-driven design, and RESTful services.

• Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, along with Git-based workflows.

• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and exposure to tools like Jenkins; comfortable with build pipelines and automated deployments.

• Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, caching, and performance optimization.

• Experience building and operating services on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Cloud Foundry.

• Working knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging systems for event streaming.

• A DevOps mindset with a strong sense of ownership across development, deployment, and production.

• Curiosity to learn emerging technologies—including GenAI concepts and developer productivity tools—while mentoring and uplifting those around you.

• A collaborative, quality-driven approach and a passion for building reliable systems that delight customers.
