What you’ll do

We're seeking a Senior Developer with exceptional analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. As a Senior Developer, you will take full responsibility for the design and delivery of your developments. You'll write clean, fully test-automated code that meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You'll handle customer tickets and provide top-notch support for complex issues while actively participating in the modernization of the S/4HANA Logistics core.

Your future team in the SAP location in Budapest focuses on Inventory Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Inventory Management is a core element of the S/4HANA Public Cloud solution and is a part of almost all end-to-end business processes of product-centric companies.

As Senior Developer (f/m/d) you will be accountable for the technical decisions you make and the quality of your implementations. You will support your colleagues and ensure all developed features comply with our software development process, relevant standards, regulations, and legal requirements.

What you bring

Required skills:

• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English

• Over 4 years of experience producing high-quality, testable code in any object-oriented programming languages

• The ability to understand customer business process requirements and translate them into software solutions

• Creativity combined with a pragmatic sense for feasibility and priorities

• Excellent team player with cross-cultural awareness

• Self-motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude and innovator mindset
  Optional skills:

• Knowledge of the SAP ABAP Platform and data modeling

• Application development experience with CDS, RAP and Fiori/UI5

• Experience with software development techniques like pair programming and TDD

• Knowledge of Product Standards e.g., Security, Performance etc.

• Product experience with Logistics or Product-Centric Solutions

• Knowledge on business processes and architecture of Inventory Management
  The position can be filled as part time position.
