What you`ll do
Summary:
The main objective of the AI Compliance Governance Expert is to support the governance, management, and continuous improvement of the SAP AI Governance Framework. This includes establishing and performing ongoing measurement of AI governance processes and controls, in alignment with the responsible teams, to ensure the effective implementation of SAP’s AI strategy, responsible AI principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
The Role:
You will be part of the team responsible for establishing and managing a holistic AI Governance framework at SAP, incl.

Definition of sound AI governance policies, standards, processes, and controls, covering responsible AI principles, regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act), and internal compliance expectations
-
Establishment of a solid AI governance mechanism to ensure adherence to SAP’s AI strategy, trustworthy AI principles, risk‑management practices, and lifecycle oversight
-
Continuous monitoring of the performance and effectiveness of the related processes and controls, and reporting to senior management
-
Support auditing and certification for compliance to international standards like ISO 42001
What you bring
-
Master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, low, economics, natural sciences, engineering or related proficiency in business economics and process analytics
-
AI governance, AI compliance, responsible AI, or adjacent areas such as information security, cloud compliance, or risk management
-
Experience working in international and cross‑functional project environments
-
Knowledge of compliance and risk frameworks such as ISO (e.g., ISO 42001/27001), NIST CSF, NIST RMF; familiarity with SOC 1 / SOC 2 is an advantage
-
Hands-on experience with compliance, quality management, model governance, or security‑related topics
-
Strong analytical and communication skills
-
Agility, openness, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment

Understanding of AI and cloud technologies
-
Fluency in English – verbal and written
