What You’ll Build:
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: Local Chief Accounting Support Working Student (Temporary Part Time)
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Expected start date to end date: March 2026
Project scope and deliverables

Audit Assistance: Help with administrative duties tied to independent audits

Project Support: Assist the Local Chief Accounting team on various finance projects and other activities such as representation letter management and purchase order creation

Automation & Innovation: Participate in automation initiatives to enhance our reporting processes
This role is part of Local Chief Accounting (LCA) Support, which supports the Local Chief Accounting organization, part of SAP’s Global Accounting, Reporting, & Tax (GAR&T) team. You’ll work with other LCA Support team members, under the guidance of the LCA Support Lead and Regional Chief Accountant. Participation in global projects will lead to collaboration with the team of Local Chief Accountants.
The GAR&T team is responsible for managing SAP’s Accounting and Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting policies, ensuring the completeness, correctness, and consistency of transactional accounting while compiling accurate and transparent external reports that comply with all applicable regulations.

Ideal candidates have:

Academic Background: an academic background in a relevant business field. Candidates should be currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, tax, business administration, or a related field, with strong academic performance.

Languages: Fluent English language skills. Additional languages are a plus.

Accounting Knowledge: Background or coursework in financial accounting, IFRS, or GAAP

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Team Player: Great communication and collaboration skills, and a growth mindset.

Global Perspective: Ability to work in virtual, multicultural teams, and have a strong interest in finance projects.
