Position Summary

In your role as a Diffusion Process Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of production tools to support world-class foundry operations 24/7. We prioritize safety, learning, and having fun. You will continuously encounter technical issues that challenge and sharpen your skills.

Job Description:

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively

• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment

• Use structured problem solving to help find impactful solutions to complex problems

• Affectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates

• Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

• High School diploma is required

• Technical degree preferred but not required

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Night Shifts Include:

B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays

D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays
