Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

The Office and Car Fleet Manager is responsible for the efficient management of office spaces, car fleets, and workplace facilities for Samsung's operations in Prague. This role oversees 170 employee office spaces, 70 vehicles, and ensures the smooth operation of workplace and facility management, including the running of the reception. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, high stress resilience, and the ability to improvise.

🔍 What you will be doing:

Office management

  • Overseeing the maintenance and optimization of 170 employee office spaces in Prague

  • Greeting and assisting visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception experience

  • Coordinating internal communication, and preparing team activities and events for employees

Car fleet management

  • Managing a fleet of 70 vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, repairs, and inspections

  • Coordinating the administration of the company’s fleet of vehicles

  • Liaising with external fleet management companies and internal teams to oversee maintenance, repairs, and replacements

  • Tracking and reporting on fleet costs, maintenance schedules, and vehicle utilisation

Workplace and facility management

  • Overseeing the daily operations of workplace facilities, including cleaning, security, and utilities

  • Implementing energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs

  • Managing contracts with service providers for facility maintenance and support

Reception management

  • Supervising the reception team to ensure efficient guest management and visitor services.

  • Coordinating with other departments for smooth reception operations during events or meetings

Additional responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction

  • Monitoring and analyzing operational costs to identify areas for improvement

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives

  • Providing support for foreign employees

Skills and Qualifications

  • Reception management capabilities: Supervising reception teams to ensure efficient guest management and visitor services

  • Strategic and analytical thinking: Developing workplace efficiency strategies and analyzing operational costs for improvement
