Position Summary

In your role as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer you'll be responsible for instrumentation design, control system engineering, and industrial networking, working with Siemens FMCS Platforms.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Interpret and enforce Samsung design standards, specifications, and performance criteria.

  • Ensure EOR and contractor adhere to functional requirements.

  • Confirm that EOR I&C design is complete, technically correct, and aligns with owner expectations.

  • Act as the main technical liaison between the owner and the EOR for all I&C design matter.

  • Ensure I&C design aligns with applicable codes e.g IEC, ISA, NFPA, NEC and local regulator requirements.

  • Provide expert inputs during HAZOP, LOPA, SIL assessment, and ensure proper implementation.

  • Evaluate proposed design changes, identifying potential impact on functionality, safety and cost.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in instrumentation and control design engineering.

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic engineering or related fields.

  • Expertise with industry standards and codes (ISA, IEC, NES, NFPA).

  • Proven I&C design skills. Instrumentation selection, PLC systems and industrial network architecture

  • Software experience with CAD, Navisworks, Revit. Siemens TIA portal and DCS platform.

  • PE, PMP, ISA CCS are advantageous.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
